Designate Senior Sous Chef | Birmingham West | Full Time

The Role

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive environment where your team feels cared for and supported, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Experience maintaining high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Knowledge of financial performance, including GP and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and respond to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
