Job summary

Artsy | London or New York based CTO role overseeing a post-merger engineering organization at the nexus of art and technology. Lead AI-augmented development, unify platforms, and secure scalable infra while mentoring a broad team across engineering, product, and design.

You will shape technical strategy for an agentic future, partner with the CPO, and drive rapid yet responsible software delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Led engineering organizations through periods of significant change such as post-acquisition integration, rapid scaling, or fundamental retooling.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into engineering workflows and evaluating technical solutions for elegance and feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering organization through AI-augmented development and accelerate shipping.
• Mentor engineers, product managers, designers, and operators in new ways of working with AI fluency.
• Build on modern tooling, agile practices, and continuous delivery to foster experimentation and rapid iteration.
• Establish the org as an industry reference for AI and product development.
• Drive post-merger integration to unify legacy platforms into a modern architecture.
• Own security and infrastructure postures amid AI tooling expansion.
