Job summary

Ethos BeathChapman seeks a Field Chief Technology Officer, Agentic AI, to partner with the UK CEO and own the UK technical architecture for a leading agentic AI platform in regulated sectors.

You will head a forward deployed engineering team, delivering production value inside client environments while maintaining security, governance and AI risk discipline. The role demands hands-on depth in agentic systems and proven leadership in fast growth.

Qualifications

• Technologist who is genuinely AI native with hands-on depth in agentic systems
• Direct experience of forward deployed engineering or solutions engineering inside large enterprise accounts
• Ability to command technical credibility in senior enterprise discussions with banking/insurance/telco buyers
• Track record of building and scaling technical teams in high-growth environments
• Comfort with ambiguity, rapid change and hypergrowth environments

Responsibilities

• Owning technical architecture and UK engineering roadmap in close partnership with the UK CEO and global CTO function
• Building and leading a forward deployed engineering team embedded at client sites
• Providing deep technical credibility in enterprise sales cycles and running technical workstreams
• Translating rapid developments in agent builders and multi-model orchestration into platform priorities
• Leading security, data governance and AI risk discussions with procurement and due diligence teams
• Travel to client sites and balance internal architecture work with hands-on delivery
• Operate with rigor and adaptability in a fast-growing organisation
