trg. is building an agentic AI platform that automates complex, document-heavy operational workflows for regulated enterprises in London.

This founding-level CTO role will own the technical direction and architecture, lead a small, high-calibre engineering team, and be the technical voice of the business in front of enterprise customers and investors. Expect a real split between building with the team and sitting in the room with senior customer stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CTO, Head of Engineering or senior technical leader in a startup with growth expectations.
• Track record of shipping software at scale in regulated environments (e.g., financial services).
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs and agentic systems, backed by LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex/Ollama.
• Experience deploying into large enterprise environments, including security and integration work.

They’re building an agentic AI platform that automates complex, document-heavy operational workflows for large enterprises in a highly regulated sector. Their platform works on top of existing legacy systems rather than replacing them, and they’re now moving from successful pilots into production deployments with some of the biggest names in their industry.

The role

This is a genuinely hands-on, founding-level leadership role. You’ll own the technical direction and architecture, lead a small, high-calibre engineering team, and be the technical voice of the business in front of enterprise customers and investors. Expect a real split between building with the team and sitting in the room with senior customer stakeholders.

What they’re looking for

• Experience as a CTO, Head of Engineering or senior technical leader in an early-stage or high-growth start-up
• A track record of shipping and deploying software at scale in a regulated environment, such as financial services
• Practical, hands‑on expertise with LLMs and agentic systems, backed by strong (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or Ollama)
• Experience deploying into large enterprise environments, including security, compliance and integration work
• Strong communication skills and a low‑ego, fast‑moving approach
