Job summary

Stark Group is seeking a skilled Metering Technician to install, commission and test LV and metering equipment across the UK. You will work on single and three-phase installations, require Comcop and DNO authorisations, travel as needed, and provide high-quality customer service with strong IT skills.

The role is on-site in Worcester, involves complex testing and remote metering tasks, and demands adherence to safety and industry regulations. A clean driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Trained, authorised and experienced in single and three phase meter installation and LVCT metering.
• Hold Comcop authorisations.
• Hold DNO metering authorisations where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, remove and replace all types of metering equipment.
• Commission all types of metering equipment.
• Test and verify all LV metering equipment.
• Operate the LV system for metering activities per procedures.
• Undertake complex tests and inspections on installations.
• Undertake remote testing of metering equipment.
• Investigate high consumption queries and resolve customer issues.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards; review others' work.
