Job summary

Stark Group’s Stark Connect team is seeking a qualified metering technician to install, commission and service metering equipment across multiple sites. The role requires experience with single and three-phase metering and LVCT systems, with authorisations for Comcop and DNO metering where applicable.

You will travel to sites, perform complex tests, and provide technical explanations to colleagues and customers while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Trained, authorised and experienced in single and three phase meter installation and LVCT metering.
• Hold relevant Comcop authorisations.
• Hold DNO metering authorisations where applicable.
• Experience in Half Hourly, AMR and SMETS metering would be advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, remove and replace all types of metering equipment.
• Commission all types of metering equipment.
• Test and verify all LV metering equipment.
• Operate the LV system for metering activities in accordance with procedures.
• Undertake complex tests and inspections on installations.
• Undertake remote testing of metering equipment.
• Investigate high consumption complaints and resolve queries with customers.
• Investigate dangerous occurrences and resolve customer problems.
• Plan and schedule work and make quotations on site to customers.
• Provide technical explanation to the team and customers.
