Job summary

Flowtec Group is seeking an experienced Cryogenic Sales Engineer to drive UK and Northern Europe sales of cryogenic and scientific instrumentation. The role blends business development, account management and applications expertise with a technically informed customer approach.

You will work with researchers and engineers across academia, quantum technology and related markets, delivering tailored solutions and maintaining an active sales pipeline throughout a defined territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
• 5–8 years of customer-facing experience.
• At least 3 years within technical sales or business development.
• Experience selling complex technical, scientific or engineering products.
• Comfortable managing long and technically involved sales cycles.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets within a territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through face-to-face and remote engagement.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships for repeat business.
• Understand customers' technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from engagement to order.
• Develop territory plans to grow revenue and diversify the customer base.
• Collaborate with researchers and technical stakeholders across teams.
