Job summary

TreQ, based in Milton Park, Abingdon, is seeking a Cryogenic Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to own the installation, operation and field deployment of our cryogenic systems.

You will lead installation, commissioning, and bring-up, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and develop repeatable procedures while maintaining safety and reliability.

This role combines hands-on hardware work with systems thinking to keep critical infrastructure running across manufacturing and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with dilution refrigerators or related low-temperature systems
• Experience installing and commissioning technical systems
• Experience deploying equipment at customer sites
• Awareness of safety practices in manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

• Operate cryogenic systems and optimise uptime
• Lead installation, commissioning, and bring-up of systems
• Establish facilities infrastructure (cooling, power, plumbing, access control)
• Manage end-to-end system logistics and deployment
• Create documentation and manage parts inventory and SOPs
