Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Oxford is seeking a Sales Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering or Physics background to join a fast-growing company developing bespoke cryogenic equipment. You will act as the technical expert between customers and the business, delivering tailored solutions, preparing quotes, and conducting product demonstrations.

The role offers a salary of £35,000–£40,000 with first-year commission (OTE around £50k), plus training, progression, flexitime and a bonus.

Qualifications

• Suitability for a Sales Engineer role in technical environments.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements into tailored technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responding to technical customer queries and create tailored solutions
• Prepare quotations and costings for products and services
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits
• Support customers on technical and procurement matters from pre to post sales
• Monday - Thursday, 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8:30am-1pm
