Job summary

Understanding Solutions is seeking an experienced CRM / Salesforce Project Manager to own the Salesforce workstream within a major technology transformation programme. You’ll collaborate with leadership, the Salesforce Delivery Manager, internal tech teams and external partners to drive delivery from development through testing to production.

The ideal candidate has strong project management skills across technology programmes, a good grasp of Salesforce lifecycle, and agile delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience leading technology transformation projects.
• Experience with Salesforce delivery lifecycle and CRM.
• Strong Agile delivery experience.
• Proficient in RAID, governance and reporting.
• Experience managing budgets and dependencies.
• Solid stakeholder and vendor management.
• Experience in PMO or SPMO environments.
• Azure DevOps or ADO Boards experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day Salesforce/CRM delivery workstream.
• Manage plans, milestones, budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with Salesforce Delivery Manager and partners.
• Manage RAID, dependencies, decisions and governance.
• Support Agile delivery across development and testing.
• Ensure Salesforce solutions progress through testing to production.
• Manage senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Provide clear programme reporting and escalate risks.
• Ensure Salesforce workstream integrates into the wider transformation programme.

Location: Hybrid – initial 1-2 days onsite in Stevenage a week

Start Date: ASAP

We're looking for an experienced CRM / Salesforce Project Manager to take ownership of the Salesforce delivery workstream within a major technology transformation programme.

You'll work closely with programme leadership, the Salesforce Delivery Manager, internal technology teams, business stakeholders and external delivery partners to ensure the Salesforce solution progresses successfully through development, testing and into production.

You don't need to be a Salesforce technical specialist. What's more important is being a strong Project Manager who understands technology delivery, can operate with an Agile mindset and has enough Salesforce/CRM experience to confidently manage the workstream.

Key Experience Needed

• Strong Project Management experience across technology or transformation programmes
• Understanding of Salesforce development and implementation lifecycles
• Agile delivery experience including Sprints and/or Kanban
• Strong RAID, governance, planning and reporting experience
• Experience managing budgets, dependencies and delivery timelines
• Strong stakeholder and third-party supplier management
• Experience working within programme / PMO / SPMO environments
• Azure DevOps / ADO Boards experience beneficial
