Job summary

Time Appointments is representing a leading Colchester-area company seeking a Sales Support Executive. You will follow up quotations, convert them to orders, and collaborate with Internal/External Sales to drive opportunities.

Key tasks include maintaining CRM records, handling pricing questions, and supporting campaigns and admin duties. Ideal candidates will be motivated, detail-focused, and capable of proactive client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing within agreed guidelines and seek approval where required.
• Respond promptly to customer pricing and product enquiries.
• Work closely with Internal and External Sales teams to develop and convert opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure quote follow-ups are completed on time.
• Manage customer sample requests and follow up as required.
• Identify additional sales opportunities and communicate these to the wider team.
• Support proactive sales campaigns and business development activities.
• Provide general administrative support, including managing enquiries, updating databases and maintaining project records.
• Assist the External Sales team with day-to-day requirements and customer support.
• Attend customer and site visits where required to support specifications and secure orders.
• Liaise with Supply Chain regarding stock availability and lead times.
• Respond to customers' day-to-day requirements and ensure queries are dealt with promptly.
