Job summary

ProGroup Recruitment Limited is seeking a Sales Order Coordinator to join our established manufacturer partner in the construction and interiors sectors. You will own orders from accepted quotations, liaise with customers, and coordinate with estimating and production to ensure realistic delivery dates.

In this role you’ll develop product knowledge, maintain accurate records in HubSpot and Sage 200, and act as the main customer contact after order placement, managing amendments and expectations

Qualifications

• Experience in sales coordination or order processing.
• Strong customer service and confidence managing expectations.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Comfortable coordinating several orders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of newly accepted quotations and prepare them for order processing.
• Contact customers to confirm specifications and collect outstanding information.
• Liaise with production teams to establish achievable lead times and delivery dates.
• Keep customers informed of order progress, revisions and changes.
• Assess whether amendments require changes to job sheets or pricing, working with the estimating team where needed.
• Assist with quotations and project revisions.
• Maintain accurate customer and project records on HubSpot.
• Use Sage 200 for order processing and maintain ironmongery and alterations logs.
• Work with external sales colleagues to ensure customer expectations are understood and managed.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the company’s products so you can respond confidently to customer queries.
