Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are recruiting a Relief Monitoring Centre Operator for their 24-hour Lifeline and CCTV Monitoring Centre based in Redditch, with some travel to Bromsgrove. The role is shift-based, including mornings, AR days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, on a relief contract covering sickness and holidays.

Qualifications

• Answer Lifeline emergency calls and help people live independently.
• Monitor CCTV and produce evidence for the Police.
• Safeguard vulnerable individuals with empathy, compassion and respect.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to emergency Lifeline calls, helping people to live their lives independently
• Answer and respond to calls in relation to various Councils’ emergency services and housing repairs when the offices have closed
• Proactively monitor CCTV within North Worcestershire and produce evidence for the Police
• Join our team and you will make a difference to the safety of our residents, including some of the most vulnerable people.
