Job summary

Bristol City Council is seeking an Emergency Operation Centre Officer to join the 24/7 Operations Centre at 100 Temple Street, Redcliffe, Bristol. You will deliver Telecare response, CCTV surveillance and security services to vulnerable residents, and work across shifts including night patterns.

You will respond to Telecare emergency calls, operate alarm platforms and related systems, coordinate responses with partners, ensuring high standards of customer care and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Responding to Telecare emergency calls from a range of service users, providing reassurance and arranging appropriate response.
• Operating Telecare and security alarm platforms, surveillance camera systems, telephony, intercom and radio, car park systems and concierge services.
• Working in a 24/7 emergency critical response environment across different shift patterns.
