Job summary

Hotel Co 51 is seeking an adaptable problem solver to lead a team in a fast-paced Moxy hotel environment. You will help deliver a high-energy, guest‑focused service culture and bring the Moxy brand to life, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere that makes guests feel at home.

Key duties include supporting the Assistant Captain, coaching staff, managing Food & Beverage operations, room inventory and check-ins, plus upholding food safety and licensing policies.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the service industry.
• Must have experience of team management.
• Must have experience of a property management system such as Opera.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros.
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
• Personal experience of travel & travel industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Captain in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Assist in coaching, training and development of staff.
• Deliver excellent guest service and positive guest experiences.
• Stay updated on hotel forecast and in-house/neighborhood activities.
• Manage Food & Beverage outlets in the Moxy style.
• Oversee room inventory and guest check-in/out procedures.
• Follow all food safety and licensing policies.
• Promote the Moxy brand and Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

We are looking for an adaptable problem solver who takes initiative to ensure guests have a great experience. Someone who can manage a team in a fast-paced service role, all while bringing the Moxy brand to life, creating a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks and responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Captain in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
• Assist in providing staff with ongoing coaching, training and development
• Customer service, guest relations and creating positive guest experiences
• You will be updated on the Hotels forecast and what’s going on in-house and, in the neighbourhood,
• Managing Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
• Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way
• Follow all food safety, licensing and health & safety policies to work safely
• Promote & support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:

• Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
• Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
• Skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service
• Know being relaxed isn’t the same as being lazy
• Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
