Job summary

Hotel Co 51 in the United Kingdom is seeking an adaptable hospitality professional to support a fast-paced Moxy brand operation. You will lead a team, ensure guests have a great experience, and bring the Moxy vibe to life in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

The role requires service-industry experience, team management skills, and familiarity with Opera and Micros systems. You will coach staff, oversee F&B, and manage check-ins/outs while upholding safety and Marriott Bonvoy standards.

Job description

We are looking for an adaptable problem solver who takes initiative to ensure guests have a great experience. Someone who can manage a team in a fast-paced service role, all while bringing the Moxy brand to life, creating a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Captain in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
• Assist in providing staff with ongoing coaching, training and development
• Customer service, guest relations and creating positive guest experiences
• You will be updated on the Hotels forecast and what’s going on in-house and, in the neighbourhood,
• Managing Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
• Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moby way
• Follow all food safety, licensing and health & safety policies to work safely
• Promote & support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:

• Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
• Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
• Skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service
• Know being relaxed isn’t the same as being lazy
• Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)

Useful Experience

• Must have Experience within the service industry
• Must have experience of team management
• Must have experience of a property management system such as Opera
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
• Personal experience of travel & travel industry
