Hotel Co 51 UK is seeking a Crew Leader (Duty Manager) at Moxy York to lead guest service in a fast-paced environment and ensure smooth operations across rooms, F&B, and payments.

The role requires energetic leadership, strong communication, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to maintain a relaxed, guest-centric atmosphere across all hotel activities.

• Follow food safety, licensing and safety policies.
• Support other crew members.
• Promote the Moxy brand and Marriott Bonvoy.

Crew Leader (Duty Manager) - Moxy York

This position is based on a full time contract.

Gross Salary: £32385 per year

Confident communicator comfortable in a fast-paced service focused role.

Proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks and responsibilities

• Helping guests and creating positive experiences
• Manage hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way
• Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
• Manage all bills and payments correctly
• Prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries and organize BOH areas
• Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
• Supporting other Crew Members
• Promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:

• Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
• Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
• Skilled multi tasker who can balance hard work with great service
• Know being relaxed isn't the same as being lazy
• Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)

Useful Experience

• Experience within the service industry
• Knowledge of hotel systems Opera and Micros
• Knowledge of F&B operations
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
• Personal experience of travel and travel industry
