Job summary

Gini is a UK consultancy based in London seeking a partner with 10+ years in credit risk modelling to build the firm and lead engagements. You will bring in work, shape our offerings and stand behind the quality of deliverables, while hands-on modelling remains with the bench behind you.

You will operate with a strong network across UK lenders, CROs and risk committees, guiding client conversations, pricing, and growth strategy as the firm scales.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more in credit risk modelling, model validation or risk, with leadership experience.
• Strong network across UK lenders, built through work, not events.
• Proven record of winning work as a practice lead or trusted advisor.
• Ability to tell clients what they need, not just what they asked for.
• Credibility with CROs, model risk committees, and supervisors.
• Strategic growth vision and willingness to own a share of the firm.
• Interest in AI tooling and how a small firm uses it.

Responsibilities

• Open conversations with lenders to identify opportunities.
• Lead senior client relationships during engagements.
• Shape offerings and pricing to fit client needs.
• Review deliverables and challenge methods before client delivery.
• Mentor senior staff and help shape hires.
• Own the outcome and close gaps in pipeline.
• Cover a broad ground from risk modelling to AI strategy.
