Job summary

Deloitte, based in the UK, seeks a senior Credit Risk leader to model, validate, and enhance credit risk frameworks across IFRS9 and IRB regimes. You will work with cross-functional teams, influence governance, and drive innovation in credit analytics while mentoring junior staff.

You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, manage client relations, and contribute to thought leadership on credit measurement practices in a hybrid working environment across Leeds, London or Manchester.

Qualifications

• Expert credit modelling skills and experience in development, delivery or validation of credit risk models under IFRS9/IRB.
• Strong governance and stakeholder perspective understanding of credit financials.
• Proficient with modelling software such as SAS, SQL, Python and R.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-experts.

Responsibilities

• Provide credit measurement modelling and analytics services to clients and internal teams.
• Design and improve credit measurement ecosystems including data, controls and model risk management.
• Support Deloitte's external audit of IFRS9 and assurance of RWA through challenge of client methodologies.
• Lead the Credit Risk team, developing talent and driving delivery with a values-driven approach.
• Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor within an inclusive team.
