Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Analyst to support risk management by analysing and maintaining credit risk profiles for asset management clients across products and jurisdictions. You will join Credit Risk Middle Office, a global team, to onboard clients, assess risk profiles, and help enable trading activity.

Qualifications

• Entry level or experience in reporting, financial analytics, or a related role.
• Desire to develop expertise in the investments universe and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Adaptability and learning mindset, including eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to data quality.
• Critical thinking and ability to work independently to drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Analyse documentation to understand fund and client investment strategies, structure, and restrictions.
• Identify risk concerns to support limit and documentation decisions.
• Investigate and complete client write-ups to support approval as eligible counterparties.
• Collaborate with lines of business to align client objectives with our risk framework.
• Create negotiation requests for legal documentation that facilitates trading activity.
• Perform annual reviews to ensure credit limits and risk ratings reflect current data.
• Improve processes and controls to strengthen operational efficiency using emerging technologies.
