Job summary

Qualifications

• Sound credit skills and judgment developed through a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable environment, ideally in a Credit Risk or Financial Analysis role.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also being able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to establish credibility and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
• A working knowledge of fund financing products and experience in legal negotiation for financing arrangements as well as derivatives trading activity, transaction structures, documentation, and banking products sufficient to take the lead in approval of new transactions and trading relationships.

Responsibilities

• Credit risk coverage of a portfolio of fund clients, including private equity/credit, hedge funds, regulated and pension funds.
• Monitor counterparty exposure, market events and client performance as part of ongoing credit risk portfolio management.
• Lead due diligence and credit analysis to assess creditworthiness and make recommendations on structure, risk appetite, risk grading and documentation terms.
• Coach and train junior team members on technical and professional skills.
• Engage across all lines of business within the CIB and lead discussions with Sales, Trading, Structuring and Legal teams.
