Job summary

Perfect Recruitment Ltd. in Leyland is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy accounts team. You will manage B2B customer accounts, chase payments and help maintain accurate records.

Chorley / Leyland | £30,000 per annum | Full-time, Permanent

Perfect Recruitment is working with a growing business in the Chorley / Leyland area to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join its close-knit accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in B2B credit control, debt collection and account administration who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in building positive customer relationships.

The Role

• Managing B2B customer accounts and credit control processes.


• Raising and processing sales invoices.


• Chasing outstanding payments and managing aged debt.


• Building and maintaining effective relationships with business customers.


• Resolving account queries and discrepancies.


• Supporting the wider accounts function and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.

About You

• Has previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.


• Is confident handling B2B debt collection and payment chasing.


• Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.


• Is organised, proactive and comfortable managing their own workload.


• Has a professional approach, strong integrity and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.


• Is comfortable using accountancy software, with Xero or QuickBooks experience advantageous.

The Package

• Salary: £30,000 per annum.


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.


• Contract: Permanent, full-time.
