Job summary

Clarity Travel Ltd. in Manchester is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to own a high-volume ledger portfolio, chase overdue payments by phone, and drive timely settlements.

You will build relationships with customers, resolve invoice discrepancies, and support month-end finance activities. The role requires at least 3 years in credit control, excellent communication, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Three years+ experience in Credit Control within a large, high-volume environment.
• Experience managing multiple ledgers and proactive telephone collection of payments.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to secure payments and resolve disputes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple customer ledgers and manage debt across a high-value portfolio.
• Proactively chase overdue invoices by telephone; email support as needed.
• Build relationships with customers while pursuing payment commitments and resolving disputes.
• Monitor aged debt and take action to reduce overdue balances.
• Provide updates to internal stakeholders on debt risks and progress.
• Support month-end activities and wider Finance requirements.
