Job summary

Expanding Organisation seeks a Credit Controller to own and perform collections for their book on a temporary basis. Hybrid working is available, with responsibilities covering day-to-day credit control, reporting, and liaison with external agencies.

The role requires strong communication, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a dynamic finance team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B credit control experience.
• GCSE English and Maths grade B or above.
• Strong IT and MS Office skills; attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Run daily credit control via phone, letter and email and keep records.
• Produce daily arrears report for senior stakeholders.
• Manage external debt collection agencies and litigation matters.
• Update customer records with direct debit mandates.
• Process daily direct debit collections and cash allocation.
• Handle customer queries and complaints promptly.
• Produce monthly arrears reports for Board reporting.
• Develop and maintain collection processes and procedures.
• General lease administration for Own Book portfolio; issue quotes and invoices.
• Support audits and collaborate with Finance and other departments.
