Search Consultancy LTD is seeking a Credit Controller to join a growing finance team on a 6 month contract in Halifax. This role offers hybrid working and the chance to strengthen customer relationships while delivering results.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in credit control, strong communication and Excel skills, and the ability to meet collection targets. Salary ranges from £27,000 to £32,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Credit Control or a similar position.
• Proven ability to achieve collection targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with finance systems.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Collecting outstanding debt and reducing aged balances.
• Resolving invoice and payment queries.
• Recording payment commitments and maintaining accurate account records.
• Building effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting cash forecasting and escalating high-risk accounts where required.
