Confidential in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a temporary, hybrid role. You will own a portfolio, drive debt collection, and build strong customer relationships while ensuring payments are received on terms.

Responsibilities include daily credit control activity, reporting, liaison with agencies, and contributing to process improvements, with oversight of audits and a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' credit control experience, ideally B2B.
• Strong telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with organised, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage own book of customers, full credit control and collections.
• Produce daily arrears reports and update senior stakeholders.
• Liaise with external debt collectors and oversee litigation cases when needed.
• Maintain customer records and process direct debits.
• Prepare monthly arrears reports for Board reporting.
• Identify process improvements and support audits.
