Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the sales ledger with accurate customer accounts.
• Proactively chase outstanding payments by phone and email.
• Monitor aged debt and prioritise overdue accounts.
• Allocate customer payments and reconcile accounts.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and payment queries.
• Set and monitor customer credit limits and terms.
• Liaise with sales teams and customers to resolve issues.
• Produce aged debt and cash collection reports for management.
• Assist with month-end procedures and sales ledger reconciliations.
• Keep records of customer communications and collection activity.
• Identify potential credit risks and escalate as needed.
• Support wider finance team with additional duties.
