Job summary

The Compleat Food Group, based at our Nottingham site, is seeking a Credit Controller to support cash flow and timely payments. You will manage customer accounts, build strong relationships with customers, and assist with reconciliations and month-end activities to drive efficient credit control.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or sales ledger roles.
• Proven ability to collect debts while maintaining relationships.
• Understanding of credit control processes and reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely payments.
• Contact customers to collect outstanding balances while maintaining relationships.
• Monitor aged debt and take action to reduce overdue balances.
• Resolve invoice, pricing, delivery and account queries with internal teams.
• Assist month-end activities and support cash collection improvements.
