Job summary

Genuit Group in Doncaster is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to manage customer accounts and drive timely payments. You will chase aged debt, maintain accurate records, and support cash flow targets within the finance team.

The role requires prior credit control experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. The position is a full-time, on-site role with a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at A–C (or equivalent).
• Previous credit control experience is essential.
• Strong IT skills, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
• Experience with IFS would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely payments.
• Chase aged debt and minimise bad debt while meeting targets.
• Allocate payments accurately and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Prepare cash forecasts and contribute to monthly reporting.
• Issue credit notes or communicate refusals when needed.
• Maintain customer master data and assist with month‑end close.
