Job summary

Genuit Group is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the finance team. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase overdue debt, and support cash collection to maintain healthy cash flow.

The role requires a proactive, commercially minded individual with strong communication skills and experience with accounting software such as IFS. You will collaborate with Finance, Sales and Transport teams to resolve queries and ensure accurate data.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade A–C or equivalent.
• Previous Credit Control experience is essential.
• Experience using accounting software; IFS experience would be advantageous.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Organised, analytical and persistent with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are collected promptly and within terms.
• Monitor aged debt and minimise bad debt.
• Allocate payments and maintain accurate account records.
• Support monthly cash collection and receivables targets.
• Maintain customer master data and resolve EDI errors.
• Prepare cash forecasts and assist month-end close.
