Job summary

SNAP is redefining mobility services across Europe with a digital platform for fleets, drivers and service partners. Based in the UK, the Credit Controller will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive timely collections and reduce credit risk while strengthening customer relationships.

You'll support cash flow and contribute to growth, performing credit checks, posting payments, and producing debt reports within a fast-moving finance environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Credit Control role.
• Strong debt collection and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding arrears.
• Handling customer queries via telephone and email.
• Sending statements, reminder letters and payment links.
• Contacting customers to secure payment and resolve balances.
• Monitoring aged debt reports and escalating high-risk accounts.
• Posting and allocating daily incoming payments.
• Reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies.
• Performing credit checks and supporting credit risk assessments.
• Producing aged debt and cash collection reports.
• Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
