Temporary Credit Controller – Reading - £14 - £16 per hour

About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join the finance team, reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager. The role involves ensuring the timely collection of debts, accurate processing of receipts, and effective communication with clients to resolve queries and minimise financial risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Allocating daily multi-currency receipts into the finance system
  2. Chasing overdue payments via email, phone, and written communication
  3. Liaising with clients to resolve invoice and contract queries
  4. Identifying and proposing risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with client managers
  5. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes

About the Successful Candidate
You should have at least two years of experience in credit control, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with direct debit payments. A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a methodical approach are essential. You should enjoy working in a team environment and be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
