Goodman Masson is partnering with a market-leading Technology business to find a new Group Financial Controller.
With several acquisitions planned, the business aims to exit its current PE investor in the coming years. They seek a high-caliber Group Financial Controller/Director to bring rigor and structure to the finance function and further professionalize the business ahead of the exit and throughout its next investment cycle.
The role involves acting as a business partner to senior leadership, managing all financial matters, including bank relationships, liaising with the PE investor, and overseeing recruitment, development, and retention within the finance team. The position reports to a highly experienced CFO.
This role manages financial reporting, group consolidation, tax, transformation, M&A, and corporate development teams. It also involves providing technical accounting support, developing strategy, offering commercial insights on sales and marketing initiatives, and creating robust financial models to optimize business efficiency.
We are looking for an ambitious, technically proficient, qualified accountant with experience as a hands-on Group Financial Controller. Experience in TMT is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must be ACA trained, have experience working under PE ownership, and possess strong M&A experience. These requirements are non-negotiable.
