Our client is one of the fastest growing Private Credit firms in London. They currently manage 4 funds targeting medium-sized companies and have exceeded their fundraising targets this year. They are looking to hire a Fund Controller to manage outsourced accountants and collaborate closely with the investment team.
This role reports directly to the CFO and is part of a flat-structured team of three, each focusing on different funds. The role offers end-to-end exposure across fund activities. All reporting is outsourced to fund administrators (Jersey and/or Luxembourg), allowing more time for portfolio monitoring, analysis, and involvement in fundraising activities, system projects, and investment support including modelling. Responsibilities include investor reporting, valuations, and preparing fund financial statements.
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience in fund accounting (hedge funds or closed-ended funds). Strong Excel skills are essential for building and manipulating investment and cash flow models. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The compensation package is £80,000 plus a bonus of 50-70%, which has been consistently achieved over the past three years. The company offers a collaborative culture with hybrid working (3 days in the office per week).
