Carrington West is seeking a talented Credit Controller to join our finance team in Portsmouth on a full-time, hybrid basis after probation. The role offers a salary of £26,500–£30,000 with a 5% quarterly bonus and a supportive team environment.

You will manage customer accounts, chase payments, and build client relationships to ensure timely settlements. No prior credit control experience is required, making it an ideal entry point into finance.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing customer accounts and chasing outstanding payments via phone and email.

• Building positive relationships with clients.

• Resolving invoice queries and negotiating payment plans.

• Processing and reconciling payments accurately.

• Supporting the team in achieving monthly collection targets.

• Keeping customer records accurate and up to date.

What we're looking for:

• Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.

• Organised, proactive and great attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with numbers and meeting deadlines.

• GCSE Maths and English (essential).

• Excel skills (desirable).

• No previous Credit Control experience required!
