Job summary

Confidential in Solihull is seeking an accomplished Credit Controller to own a high-value ledger in a fast-paced, multi-site food production environment. You will chase outstanding balances, allocate multi-currency payments, and perform detailed reconciliations while resolving complex invoice disputes.

You will partner with commercial and distribution teams, analysing aged debt, flagging financial risks and reporting KPI metrics to senior management in a proactive, high-result finance function.

Working as a trusted specialist within a friendly, high-performing finance function, you will take full accountability for a high-value portfolio of customer accounts to protect group cash flow and strategically reduce ageing debt. This dynamic role requires you to proactively chase outstanding balances via phone and email, accurately allocate complex, multi-currency incoming cash across the ledger, and perform detailed account reconciliations. You will frequently investigate and resolve intricate invoice and delivery disputes, partnering closely with internal commercial and distribution teams to dismantle payment barriers. Regularly analysing aged debt reports to flag financial risks and reporting key performance metrics to senior management will also form a critical part of your daily routine.

Skills Required
