Job summary

Confidential in Solihull is seeking an accomplished Credit Controller to own a high-value ledger in a fast-paced, multi-site food production environment. You will chase outstanding balances, allocate multi-currency payments, and perform detailed reconciliations while resolving complex invoice disputes.

You will partner with commercial and distribution teams, analysing aged debt, flagging financial risks and reporting KPI metrics to senior management in a proactive, high-result finance function.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing large corporate ledgers.
• Advanced query resolution for invoicing discrepancies.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication with high-value stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Chase outstanding balances via phone and email.
• Allocate multi-currency incoming cash to ledgers and reconcile accounts.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and delivery disputes with internal teams.
• Analyse aged debt reports and report KPIs to senior management.
• Identify financial risks and help reduce ageing debt.
