Confidential in the Salford area is recruiting for a Credit Controller. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will manage your own ledger, ensure customers adhere to payment terms and help develop credit control procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of credit control experience in a commercial environment, with excellent verbal and written communication, strong arithmetic, and proficiency in Excel and Outlook. The role offers an excellent salary and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of credit control experience in a commercial environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; computer literate.
• Ability to work in a team and individually with strong organisation.

Responsabilités

• Own ledger and ensure customers adhere to payment terms.
• Work with multiple ledgers with varying requirements.
• Develop relationships with customers and resolve account queries.
• Identify and monitor customers posing financial risk.
• Escalate overdue accounts for disconnection in line with credit control processes.
• Suggest process improvements to current procedures.
• Produce adhoc and monthly reports for senior management.
• Handle general admin duties.
