Job summary

TXO, based in Chepstow, offers a 3 months fixed-term contract with hybrid-working as part of the Group Finance Team. The Credit Controller role focuses on delivering all aspects of credit control for the assigned companies within the Group, supporting accounts receivable and payable responsibilities.

The successful candidate will proactively manage customer payments, liaise with Sales to ensure debt is managed according to credit policies, maintain accurate records and perform timely credit

Qualifications

• Experience in AR and AP within a finance team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Able to identify workflow improvements.
• Motivated by TXO’s mission to make technology sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of credit control for assigned group.
• Proactively contact customers to confirm payment dates.
• Collaborate with Sales to manage debts and enforce credit policy.
• Maintain customer records, credit limits and terms.
• Perform credit checks on new customers.
• Escalate overdue accounts to ensure timely settlement.
• Prepare periodic cash receipts forecasts.
• Provide ad-hoc financial reporting to management.
• Issue monthly customer statements.
• Review orders/shipments for processing.
• Provide coverage for Finance Department during absences.
• Carry out ad hoc activities for Group Finance Manager/Controller.
