Oasis Business Personnel seeks a skilled Credit Controller to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract at the Milton Keynes Head Office. You will manage your own sales ledger, collect outstanding debts by phone and written correspondence, and collaborate with customers, sales teams and internal departments.

The role is full-time and hybrid, ideal for an organised, dependable candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment with clear processes and targets.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with a proactive approach.
• Well organised and dependable.
• Thorough, disciplined and detail-focused with data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sales ledger accounts and ensure timely collection of debts.
• Support other Credit Control team members during absences.
• Collect debts by telephone and written correspondence.
• Handle customer queries and liaise with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Negotiate settlements of overdue monies and release of held orders.
• Set and monitor credit limits and conduct regular credit risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and collections.
• Complete ad hoc tasks to achieve monthly collection targets.
