Job summary

Meridian Trust is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support learning and progress in our schools. The role is 35 hours per week during term time, with responsibilities including adapting teaching resources, preparing class displays, and working with the SEND team to provide strong educational opportunities.

You will collaborate with the SENDCo, develop engaging activities, and contribute to safeguarding while benefiting from extensive professional development and a supportive working

Qualifications

• GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent.
• Experience of supporting pupils with SEND would be beneficial.
• Outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team.
• Adaptable, take on board new ideas and think on their feet.
• An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.

Responsibilities

• Adapt teaching resources and prepare fantastic class displays.
• Support pupils with learning and progress as part of the SEND team.
• Work closely with the SENDCo to provide quality educational opportunities.
