Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust seeks a caring Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our supportive team. You will work with class teachers to support learning, assisting individuals and small groups under teaching staff, while fostering an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere.

Experience with SEND, including ASD and Down Syndrome, is desirable. The role requires strong communication, resilience and a commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, and collaboration with families to help every child reach

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down Syndrome, is desirable.
• Assist with the delivery of planned learning activities, prepare resources, monitor pupil progress, promote positive behaviour.
• Create an inclusive learning environment where all children can achieve their full potential.
• The successful applicant must be willing to support children with personal and intimate care needs when required and demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
