Avon Search & Selection presents an Opportunities to join a luxury, 20-bed residential care home in Eastbourne as an Activities Coordinator. You will plan and deliver a stimulating programme, helping residents stay active, social and engaged in line with their interests and abilities.

The role offers 22 hours per week with shifts 9:30am-3:00pm or 10:00am-3:30pm, occasional weekend work for special events, in a warm, stand-alone home central to Eastbourne.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities coordination or care is desirable but not essential.
• Friendly, outgoing and approachable personality.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for planning engaging activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organise and deliver a varied activities programme tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Encourage participation in activities and social events at an appropriate level.
• Organise arts and crafts, games, music sessions, reminiscence activities and themed events.
• Support residents to maintain hobbies and social connections.
• Provide one-to-one activities and companionship as needed.
• Work with care staff to ensure activities meet residents' individual needs.
