Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Craft Trainer to deliver high-quality training across craft disciplines at Dealain House in Cumbernauld and at other sites as required. Travel to sites is expected, with Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm working hours.

You will develop, deliver and evaluate training plans for internal and external customers, support product and technique development for operational teams, and contribute to safety programmes and compliance with Health & Safety legislation.

Qualifications

• Completed craft apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Level II or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Experience as a recognised craftsperson (e.g., jointer, fitter, linesman).
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• LV network knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training across a range of craft disciplines.
• Support technical training needs analysis across the business.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate training plans for internal and external customers.
• Support product and technique development for operational teams.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of operational safety programmes.
• Ensure training meets business requirements and all Health & Safety legislation.
