Job summary

Archvale Limited is looking for a CQC Registered Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at Carrfield Medical Centre in Sheffield. The role is permanent, with 30–37.5 hours per week and a salary of £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will oversee staff, ensure CQC compliance, manage finances, and drive service improvements while maintaining high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience managing a team within primary care is essential.
• Experience of working with the general public.
• Experience of managing accounting procedures.
• Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate teams, enhance morale and maintain a positive working environment.
• Strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the practice.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations.
• Lead administrative team and support clinical staff.
• Represent the practice to external agencies and patients.
• Drive service improvements while meeting financial and operational objectives.
• Plan for staff absence and attendance.
