Job summary

Story Terrace Inc. is seeking a CQC Registered Practice Manager for Carrfield Medical Centre in Sheffield. This permanent role offers 30–37.5 hours per week with a salary of 40–45k depending on experience.

You will lead daily operations, ensure CQC compliance, manage staff and finances, and represent the practice to external agencies and patients.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, IT skills, and experience managing teams in primary care to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience working and managing a team within primary care is essential.
• Experience of working with the general public.
• Experience of managing accounting procedures.
• Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate teams, enhance morale and maintain a positive working environment.
• Strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the practice and ensure CQC compliance.
• Manage administrative and clinical staff; recruitment and workload planning.
• Oversee finances, cash flow, invoicing and reporting.
• Represent the practice to external agencies and patients.
• Prepare for CQC inspections and ensure data protection and IT security.
