Job summary

Stanground Academy in Peterborough invites applications for a Cover Supervisor - Teaching. The role is 32.5 hours per week (08:00 - 15:00) and focuses on keeping learning on track when teachers are absent. Job description

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor - Teaching to join our team here at Stanground Academy!

32.5 hours per week ( 08:00 - 15:00)

Are you confident, organised and passionate about supporting young people to succeed? As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in keeping learning on track by stepping into the classroom when teachers are absent. You’ll supervise pre‑planned lessons, create a positive and calm learning environment, and manage behaviour so pupils stay engaged and focused. Working closely with teachers and senior leaders, you’ll support pupils of all abilities, provide feedback on progress and behaviour, and act as a trusted role model throughout the school day.
