Job summary

Mount St Joseph is currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our school and support learning across classes during short-term absences. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and help maintain a calm, positive learning environment for students to stay engaged and achieve their best.

As a permanent, term-time role with a pattern of Term Time + 3 days, you will start as soon as possible and work within the school’s safeguarding and behavioural policies while contributing to a supportive

• Supervise whole classes during the absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain focused on their learning.

• Provide support and guidance to students during lessons where appropriate.
• Record attendance and report any issues or concerns to relevant staff.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
• Assist with other school duties as required.

Mount St Joseph is currently seeking a Cover Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning by delivering pre-prepared lesson materials. You will help maintain a calm, positive learning environment and support students in achieving their best.
