Greater Peterborough UTC is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our supportive staff team. There is no requirement to be a qualified teacher, only a passion to support students. The role covers KS3–KS4 and involves supervising classes during short-term absences while following a programme of study.
The successful candidate will engage with learners, support departments, and contribute to raising standards across the academy. 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 6, Points 7-12 of the Meridian Trust Support pay scale.
Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30, 39 weeks per year.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our support staff team. There is no requirement to be a qualified teacher, only a passion to support students. Some experience working with young people would be advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to supervise classes across the curriculum (KS3 & KS4) following a programme of study during the short-term absence of their class teacher. They will be able to actively engage with the class and follow all classroom procedures and to contribute to raising standards by providing support to departments and the whole academy.
