Job summary

Link3 Recruitment Ltd in Coventry is seeking a dynamic Cover Supervisor with a Modern Foreign Languages specialism to work across secondary schools. You will supervise pre-set lessons, manage behaviour and support students with language tasks, helping to foster a love for language learning.

Ideal candidates have GCSE qualifications (or equivalent), a strong MFL background in French, Spanish or German, excellent classroom management, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of class teachers, primarily in MFL contexts.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment.
• Support students with language tasks and promote a love for language learning.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and engagement.
• Work flexibly across departments when MFL cover is not required.

We Are Looking For:

• A strong background or qualification in

French, Spanish or German (essential)

• Prior experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting (preferred)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Requirements:

hold avalid Right to Work in the UK, which will be verified as part of our safeguarding and compliance process.
